What is axe throwing?

Competitive axe throwing is becoming increasingly popular in the United States. Quite simply, it’s like playing darts..but with axes.

How Much does it cost?

Pricing per person is $39.99 plus fees & tax, if you are going to throw axes. If you are part of a group and not throwing, the cost is $10 per person plus tax. If you have less than 8 people in your group you may be combined in the same lane with other axe throwers. For guests who would like to reserve a private lane there is a minimum of 8 people per lane.

How old do I have to be to play?

You must be 14 years old to play but anyone under 18 must have parental supervision.

When can I schedule an axe throwing game?

All reservations must be booked online at least 24 hours in advance.

Will I be throwing with strangers?

Unless you book a private lane there is always a chance that other people will book with you. That in itself is half the fun! The more people the more fun your session is!

Do you sell food or drinks?

All locations except Sandy Springs is bring your own food, beer, & wine. Sandy Springs is filing for a liquor license and should be BYOB soon!

Is there special pricing for large groups?

Please contact us directly if you are planning an event for a group of 13 or more. Visit the individual Locations page to call or email us about your group axe throwing event.

Do you take walk ins?

Walk ins are not recommended. We would hate for you to drive far and be turned away. If we have availability, we’d be happy to bring you in if you call first. Our reservation system lists all available times for the date. For same day reservations please call or email the location directly for availability.

Can people come watch the axe throwing fun?

Non-throwers are allowed to come and watch the fun for $10 (plus fees & taxes) per person.

Do you issue refunds?

We do not issue refunds however you may reschedule your reservation with a minimum of 24 hours notice. You can reschedule your reservation by clicking the “reschedule” link on the bottom of your booking confirmation.

Do you have leagues?

We will be starting a league in the Spring of 2018. Once our league schedule is published we will send out an email to all previously booked customers. Please continue to check back for our schedule!

How long does it take?

Throwing sessions take about two hours. However, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early, as your session begins promptly at the time you booked with a safety and training session.

What should I wear?

We require all guests to wear closed toed shoes. Other than that wear whatever makes you comfortable – this is a sporting event!

How long does training take?

Your safety & training session takes about 15 minutes. This includes signing your waivers (if not completed prior), reviewing all safety procedures and rules and participating in and receiving instruction on how to throw an axe.

 

Can I take pictures?

Be your own paparazzi and take all the photos and videos you want! The only requirement is you have to tag us or use the #burythehatchet in your post. Not only will you get to show everyone how much fun you had, but you can also win cool prizes when you tag our location in your post!

Is it safe?

Safety is our highest priority. We operate a very controlled environment and each guest who enters must go through our safety briefing and training session before they are allowed to participate. If any participants in the throwing lanes are not following the rules, we reserve the right to terminate that guest from the area with no refund.
